Overview
We are looking for an experienced Oracle Sovereign Cloud Architect to support a critical transformation programme focused on the implementation of Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications within Oracle's EU Sovereign Cloud. This senior architecture role will involve leading the design of cloud infrastructure, security architecture, identity management, and compliance frameworks while collaborating with enterprise architects and various teams across the organization. The role is hybrid, requiring some travel to partner cities.
Responsibilities
- Lead the cloud architecture workstream for an Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and HCM transformation programme.
- Design and define the Oracle EU Sovereign Cloud architecture, including tenancy and security controls.
- Develop identity and access management solutions such as SSO and MFA.
- Define cloud networking architecture for secure integration with enterprise systems.
- Establish encryption, key management and security controls for sensitive data.
- Ensure compliance with UK and EU GDPR, focusing on data sovereignty and residency.
- Design resilience, disaster recovery, and cloud security operations.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects and third-party systems integrators to support implementation.
Requirements
- 10+ years' experience in Cloud or Enterprise Architecture, with 5 years in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Strong Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications experience with at least one full ERP or HCM implementation.
- Experience designing solutions within Oracle EU Sovereign Cloud or similar environments.
- Knowledge of OCI architecture, including identity domains and networking.
- Expertise in encryption and key management within regulated environments.
- Familiarity with UK/EU GDPR and data residency requirements.
- Experience with integration architecture across enterprise applications using APIs.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to engage with senior leaders.
