Overview
We are seeking a skilled PKI & Digital Identity Security Engineer to enhance and support our enterprise PKI and certificate management services within a regulated environment. This role focuses on improving the PKI service by managing certificate life cycles, resolving issues, and implementing automation for renewals, while collaborating with application teams to ensure secure integrations. The successful candidate will bring practical experience and a collaborative approach to delivering reliable identity security solutions.
Responsibilities
- Operate and enhance the PKI service, managing certificate discovery and life cycle processes.
- Resolve issues related to the PKI service and troubleshoot live services.
- Automate renewal processes where feasible to improve efficiency.
- Support application onboarding with secure integration practices.
- Manage incidents, changes, patching, and releases within the PKI environment.
- Collaborate with application owners and engineers to implement robust identity security solutions.
Requirements
- Proven experience implementing and supporting enterprise PKI and certificate life cycle services.
- Familiarity with certificate authorities, issuance, renewal, revocation, and secure integrations.
- Experience with AppViewX or comparable PKI platforms.
- Ability to troubleshoot live services and manage incidents effectively.
- Broader knowledge of identity security tools such as PAM, IGA, Entra, or AWS is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work with application teams to deliver secure solutions.
