Overview
We are seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to join a 3-month contract focused on a CAF compliance program. The successful candidate will work closely with compliance teams to ensure adherence to cyber assessment frameworks, specifically leveraging their cloud engineering expertise mainly in AWS, with a bonus for GCP knowledge. This role requires a significant commitment to producing clear compliance documentation and effective communication in English.
Responsibilities
- Support the CAF compliance program by providing technical expertise.
- Implement and manage cloud security controls effectively.
- Utilize AWS and GCP to enhance platform engineering efforts.
- Produce comprehensive compliance documentation and evidence.
- Monitor and analyze cloud resources using CloudTrail and VPC Flow Logs.
- Manage centralized logging and alerting systems.
- Oversee backup and recovery processes to ensure data integrity.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF).
- Strong knowledge of AWS platform engineering; GCP experience is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with IAM, MFA, and cloud security controls.
- Familiarity with CloudTrail, VPC Flow Logs, and EKS/Kubernetes logging.
- Experience in creating compliance documentation.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Ability to work onsite 2 days per week.
