Overview
We are seeking a Product Owner to oversee product management for digital solutions utilized in the maritime, shipping, and commodities trading sectors, specifically focused on Freight, LNG, and logistics. In this role, you will collaborate closely with internal traders and external partners to ensure the development of products that meet business needs. The position also involves maintaining delivery roadmaps and shaping product requirements, ensuring a seamless workflow between stakeholders and the engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal traders to manage day-to-day product needs and requirements.
- Define and prioritize product features in alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and maintain delivery roadmaps for digital products.
- Conduct regular refinement meetings with the engineering team to ensure timely delivery.
- Act as the primary point of contact for traders and external clients regarding product functionalities and enhancements.
- Monitor product performance metrics and integrate feedback for continuous improvement.
- Participate in prioritization discussions to align product development with strategic goals.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in the maritime, shipping, or commodities trading industries.
- Strong understanding of physical trading, LNG, freight, and logistics operational processes.
- Experience managing product roadmaps and communicating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and user story writing practices.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple requests from internal traders and clients.
- Strong analytical skills to monitor product performance and drive enhancements.
