Overview
We are seeking a Product Owner to manage digital products for a commodities trading firm specializing in Freight, LNG, and Logistics. This role will involve close collaboration with internal traders and external partners to ensure product delivery aligns with business needs and client demands. The Product Owner will be responsible for shaping product requirements, maintaining the delivery roadmap, and overseeing product performance metrics.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day product operations for digital products used by trading teams and clients.
- Collaborate with internal traders to gather and refine product requirements.
- Own and maintain the delivery roadmap to ensure timely product development.
- Facilitate prioritization discussions and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Monitor and track product performance metrics to inform future developments.
- Act as the main point of contact for internal and external product inquiries and customization requests.
- Conduct regular refinement sessions with the engineering team to streamline development processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Product Owner role, preferably within the commodities trading sector.
- Strong knowledge of physical trading, freight, LNG, and logistics.
- Ability to translate business needs into detailed functional requirements.
- Experience working with engineering teams in an agile environment.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with stakeholders and clients.
- Demonstrable ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with product performance tracking and metrics analysis.
