Overview
We are looking for an experienced Programme Test Lead to oversee a complex portfolio of technology initiatives in a fully remote capacity. This role involves defining and implementing test strategies, managing risks, and coordinating between multiple delivery teams to ensure high-quality software releases. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including technology, product, and business teams, to drive excellence in delivery and instill confidence in business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement the overall testing strategy, standards, and best practices.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of QA Engineers and Test Leads.
- Oversee test planning, estimation, execution, and reporting across multiple projects.
- Ensure appropriate test coverage through functional, regression, integration, performance, and automation testing.
- Drive the adoption and maturity of test automation frameworks and quality engineering practices.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, Architects, and Delivery teams to embed quality from the outset.
- Identify and manage testing risks, dependencies, and quality-related issues.
- Monitor and report on quality metrics, KPIs, and testing effectiveness.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Testing Manager, QA Manager, or Test Lead.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience leading high-performing testing teams.
- Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and modern software delivery practices.
- Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Strong understanding of test automation approaches and frameworks.
- Experience with cloud-based applications and modern technology stacks
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
