Overview
We are seeking a Project Engineer to support project engineering activities on a pharmaceuticals site. The contractor will be responsible for delivering a portfolio of small projects while collaborating with a project management team, client engineers, and third parties to ensure timely and budget-compliant project delivery. This role emphasizes effective communication with various stakeholders and the development of engineering standards to facilitate project success.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a portfolio of small projects as part of the project management team.
- Co-ordinate project activities and manage assigned projects.
- Ensure the creation and maintenance of engineering documentation.
- Act as a client representative in meetings with third party vendors.
- Manage third party contractors and provide input into process design and installation.
- Collaborate with other client departments to offer technical support as needed.
- Develop engineering standards to support project delivery.
- Perform additional responsibilities aligned with the project engineering role.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a project engineer in multiple pharmaceutical projects.
- Knowledge of industry practices, procedures, and safety measures.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide a multi-disciplined engineering team.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with technical engineers and stakeholders.
- Ability to navigate and influence discussions with vendors and contractors.
- Understanding of project management principles specific to engineering projects.
- Experience working in a client-representative capacity during project execution.
