Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with current DV clearance to lead a significant Defence programme focused on critical infrastructure and technology changes within a secure MOD environment. This hybrid role involves collaborating with technical teams and senior stakeholders while managing system migrations and data centre build projects effectively.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery of system migration projects.
- Coordinate activities associated with data centre build and infrastructure implementation.
- Manage project plans, risks, issues, and dependencies while ensuring accurate reporting.
- Work closely with technical teams, suppliers, and senior Defence stakeholders.
- Ensure projects comply with MOD standards and governance requirements.
- Facilitate project meetings, progress updates, and decision-making forums.
Requirements
- Current DV (Developed Vetting) clearance.
- Proven Project Management experience delivering complex IT infrastructure projects.
- Strong background in managing system migrations.
- Experience with data centre build, relocation, or infrastructure deployment projects.
- Previous experience in the MOD or wider Defence sector.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Familiarity with structured project delivery methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, MSP).
