Overview
The IT Project Manager will lead the delivery of a global payroll implementation project for a prominent organisation in the Life Sciences sector. This hybrid role requires an experienced candidate to drive discovery activities, define project scope, and manage implementation phases while collaborating with multiple stakeholders across various business functions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end management of the global payroll implementation project.
- Drive discovery activities, gathering requirements from key business and technology stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and delivery roadmaps.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across IT, HR, Payroll, Finance, and external vendors.
- Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.
- Ensure effective governance, reporting, and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Work within a complex, global matrix organisation to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering payroll system implementations within global organisations.
- Strong background in IT project management with a successful technology delivery record.
- Experience in complex, matrixed, multinational environments.
- Expertise in discovery, requirements gathering, and detailed project planning.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, workstreams, and third-party suppliers.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Previous experience in Life Sciences or other highly regulated industries is advantageous.
