Overview
The Project Manager will lead the design and implementation of a comprehensive outsourcing and third-party governance framework, collaborating closely with key business stakeholders in the financial services sector. This role involves translating stakeholder requirements into effective governance policies, managing supplier risk assessments, and establishing robust oversight mechanisms, with a specific focus on governance compliance and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and roll out a third-party governance framework.
- Map current-state processes and gather requirements from various teams.
- Develop governance policies and monitoring cadences based on gathered requirements.
- Manage and coordinate workstreams for supplier risk assessments and service reviews.
- Challenge performance and compliance from business owners and suppliers.
- Establish an AI use-case and maintain an AI-supplier inventory.
- Produce executive-level reporting, dashboards, and materials for committee meetings.
- Support regulatory and audit activities with comprehensive recommendations.
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering governance, risk, or controls frameworks in financial services, with insurance exposure being an advantage.
- Strong business analysis and project management skills, including requirements gathering and structured delivery.
- Knowledge of regulations such as PRA SS2/21, FCA, DORA, and Central Bank of Ireland outsourcing requirements.
- Experience conducting supplier/third-party risk assessments and ongoing oversight, preferably with AI-enabled services.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Ability to produce executive-level reports and dashboards.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and audit activities related to governance.
