Overview
As a Project Manager focusing on Delivery Performance Metrics, you will be responsible for managing and enhancing the performance and service management framework within a dynamic technology delivery environment. This role requires a hands-on approach as you will be working directly with stakeholders, such as Tribe Heads and tier-1 vendor account managers, to ensure accurate and current delivery plans and governance processes. Your work will involve configuring Jira and Jira Align to support operational capabilities through effective performance metrics and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Own the delivery plan for the performance and service management framework, including SharePoint site build and Jira Align reporting.
- Facilitate governance meetings with leadership and project teams to maintain oversight of performance metrics.
- Onboard new teams and vendors onto the standard metric and SLA set, ensuring clarity on scoping and reporting changes.
- Manage vendor performance through structured reviews and escalations in line with agreed SLAs.
- Build and maintain reporting artefacts and steering slides on your own, demonstrating a hands-on approach.
- Directly configure and utilize Jira and Jira Align for project delivery and operational effectiveness.
Requirements
- Proven experience in project management applied to live operational capabilities.
- Hands-on experience running governance processes and producing related artefacts without a dedicated team.
- Expertise in Jira and Jira Align, with advanced configuration skills.
- Experience managing vendor performance with tier-1 partners.
- Strong stakeholder management and credibility with senior leadership and vendors.
- Ability to influence project delivery through collaboration rather than authority.
- Familiarity with SAFe or PI planning and Power BI dashboard creation is a plus.
