Overview
This role is for a Project Manager specializing in Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration (EPMA) within a significant NHS EPR implementation project. The contractor will work collaboratively with various stakeholders, ensuring effective project execution while managing multiple workstreams and fostering strong governance processes. The primary focus will be on overseeing the implementation of EPMA systems and ensuring alignment with clinical workflows and stakeholders' needs.
Responsibilities
- Manage complex EPR implementation projects within the NHS environment.
- Coordinate multiple workstreams and liaise with suppliers and clinical stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain project plans, governance frameworks, and RAID logs.
- Ensure alignment of project activities with clinical processes and requirements.
- Oversee the testing, go-live, and implementation readiness phases of EPR systems.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Proven experience in managing EPR projects within the NHS.
- Strong understanding of EPMA and clinical workflows related to medicines management.
- Excellent skills in project planning, governance, and stakeholder management.
- Experience in coordinating multiple workstreams and supplier interactions.
- Desirable experience with Oracle Health or Cerner Millennium systems.
- Familiarity with EPR go-live processes, testing, and implementation readiness.
