Overview
We are seeking a Technical Project Manager with expertise in security and cloud environments to drive a crucial remediation project within a leading banking institution. The successful candidate will collaborate with cloud domain and platform owners to assess existing privileged access patterns and identify gaps against security controls, while managing remediation efforts to ensure compliance and security governance. This hybrid role will require strong project management skills and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders across technical and security teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of a cloud privileged access remediation project from initiation to completion.
- Collaborate with cloud domain and platform owners to identify and document existing privileged access patterns.
- Coordinate assessments against defined security and control requirements.
- Identify gaps, risks, dependencies, and remediation requirements.
- Oversee and manage remediation actions with platform owners, ensuring progress is tracked to resolution.
- Maintain project plans, RAID logs, action trackers, and reporting.
- Provide clear progress updates to stakeholders and senior management.
- Support governance forums, documenting key decisions, actions, and dependencies.
Requirements
- Experience in a banking or highly regulated financial services environment.
- Knowledge of Privileged Access Management (PAM) and Identity and Access Management (IAM).
- Experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Demonstrated project management experience in technical, security, infrastructure, or cloud settings.
- Strong skills in managing complex technical stakeholders and delivering successful project outcomes.
- Experience with managing remediation and compliance-related projects.
- Proficiency in maintaining project plans and managing risks and issues.
- Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and manage multiple workstreams.
