Overview
We are seeking a skilled Cloud DevOps Engineer to support cloud, infrastructure, and automation projects in a retail enterprise environment. This hybrid contract role offers the opportunity to work on hands-on initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and problem-solving in a large enterprise, requiring strong collaboration with stakeholders to achieve practical results. The position is ideal for someone experienced in enterprise-scale environments yet adaptable to the dynamic methodologies of SMEs or startups.
Responsibilities
- Support cloud, infrastructure, and automation initiatives in a retail environment.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for development and deployment processes.
- Utilize Azure DevOps and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
- Develop scripts in Python or PowerShell for automation tasks.
- Manage Azure networking and security configurations.
- Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to drive practical solution delivery.
- Monitor and improve system observability and performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Engineering.
- Strong expertise with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tooling like Terraform.
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline design and implementation.
- Scripting experience in Python or PowerShell.
- Knowledge of Azure networking and security principles.
- Experience with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Git, GitHub, or GitLab for version control.
