Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Lead for a contract position in a leading fintech organization, focusing on the delivery of high-volume payment solutions on a global scale. The contractor will partner closely with .NET developers, architects, and engineering teams to drive testing strategies, enhance automation frameworks, and ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle. This position offers the chance to play a pivotal role in a major transformation program while leveraging deep expertise in C#/.NET testing.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the testing strategy across key programmes.
- Provide technical leadership for testing within a C#/.NET engineering environment.
- Lead and enhance test automation frameworks and quality engineering practices.
- Collaborate closely with .NET development, architecture and delivery teams.
- Ensure quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Drive continuous improvement across testing processes, tools and frameworks.
- Support the delivery of secure, scalable and high-performing applications.
Requirements
- Strong background in test leadership, QA or quality engineering.
- Excellent hands-on experience testing applications built using C# and .NET.
- Strong understanding of the .NET ecosystem, including APIs, microservices and distributed systems.
- Proven experience designing and developing test automation frameworks using C#/.NET.
- Experience with relevant testing tools and frameworks, such as NUnit, xUnit, SpecFlow or similar.
- Experience delivering complex solutions within large-scale enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of API, integration, performance and end-to-end testing.
- Excellent understanding of modern testing methodologies and best practices.
