Interim Treasury Manager

Overview

The Interim Treasury Manager will play a critical role in supporting a high-profile, PE-backed organization through a transformative period. This position involves collaborating closely with the CFO and global finance teams to enhance cash visibility and strengthen treasury processes across a multi-entity structure. The role is hands-on, requiring an experienced treasury professional to manage cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and banking relationships in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of group cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning across multiple international entities.
  • Monitor banking facilities and ensure compliance with covenant and reporting requirements.
  • Partner with finance teams globally to improve cash visibility, treasury controls, and management reporting.
  • Support working capital initiatives and identify opportunities to optimise liquidity across the group.
  • Manage banking relationships and oversee day-to-day treasury operations.
  • Oversee cash positioning, intercompany funding arrangements, and global cash management activities.
  • Provide treasury support and guidance to international entities while ensuring adherence to group policies and controls.
  • Drive process, control, and reporting improvements across the treasury function during a period of transformation.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Treasury Manager or Group Treasury Manager role within a complex multi-entity environment.
  • Strong hands-on experience with cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and working capital optimisation.
  • Demonstrable expertise in managing banking relationships, debt facilities, and covenant reporting.
  • Excellent understanding of treasury controls, cash management structures, and financial risk management principles.
  • Comfortable working independently and establishing credibility with senior stakeholders quickly.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience in international finance teams.
  • Experience in supporting finance transformation or process improvement initiatives is highly advantageous.
  • Availability to start at short notice and work from the London office three days per week.
