Overview
We are seeking an AI Project Manager to oversee the delivery of artificial intelligence projects within a digital banking environment. The successful candidate will facilitate cross-functional collaboration among product, data, engineering, architecture, and risk teams to ensure that AI solutions are developed and implemented within compliance frameworks. This opportunity allows for involvement in various AI initiatives, including customer-facing conversational AI solutions and internal AI assistants.
Responsibilities
- Manage AI project delivery across multiple initiatives within the digital bank.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and risk.
- Ensure AI solutions are implemented safely and ethically.
- Oversee project governance and delivery compliance.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure successful integration of AI solutions.
- Coordinate end-to-end project management including requirements gathering, design, and testing.
- Facilitate effective stakeholder communication throughout project lifecycles.
Requirements
- Proven project management experience in financial services, preferably in challenger banking or lending.
- Demonstrated success in delivering commercial AI initiatives, including customer-facing applications.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams, including AI engineers and data scientists.
- Strong background in vendor management and SaaS platform delivery.
- Proficient in software delivery processes, including requirements, design, build, and testing.
- Excellent communication skills with a track record of stakeholder management.
- Ability to manage project teams, budgets, and timelines effectively.
