Overview
The Digital Programme Manager will spearhead a major £25 million digital transformation initiative, focusing on unifying digital learning and assessment products across over 200 countries. This hands-on leadership role requires collaborating with cross-functional teams including Product, Technology, Data, UX, and Content to ensure seamless end-to-end programme delivery from creation through to stabilization. The successful candidate will also explore and implement AI-enabled delivery strategies to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making throughout the project.
Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of a large-scale digital platform transformation programme.
- Manage and coordinate 11 delivery workstreams and cross-functional squads.
- Own the integrated programme plan, milestones, dependencies and critical path.
- Ensure alignment across Data Architecture, Product, UX, Content and Technology teams.
- Establish and maintain robust programme governance, controls and reporting.
- Manage programme risks, issues, dependencies and escalations.
- Oversee delivery confidence, budget forecasting and financial reporting.
- Drive decision-making and stakeholder alignment across senior leadership teams.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading large-scale digital development or transformation programmes.
- Experience delivering programmes valued at £20m or more.
- Strong programme governance, controls and reporting capability.
- Significant stakeholder management experience, including executive-level stakeholders.
- Experience managing multiple suppliers and complex delivery environments.
- Ability to bring structure, pace and clarity to large-scale transformation programmes.
- Strong commercial, budget and risk management expertise.
- Technical understanding sufficient to engage credibly with Data Architects, Product Leads, and technology teams.
