Overview
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead IT carve-out and divestment projects for a 6-month duration. This role will oversee the IT workstream of a divestment, ensuring the newly separated business operates independently from day one. The Program Manager will coordinate across various technology domains, working closely with business stakeholders and external vendors to facilitate a smooth transition.
Responsibilities
- Lead the IT carve-out/separation programme from planning through Day 1 and transition.
- Assess the existing technology landscape and identify application, infrastructure, data, and integration dependencies.
- Develop and manage the Technology Separation Plan and roadmap.
- Coordinate workstreams covering ERP, CRM, HRIS, infrastructure, networks, identity/access, cybersecurity, data, and integrations.
- Manage Transition Service Agreements and track dependencies for successful execution.
- Collaborate with business, IT, Finance, Legal, Security, and vendors to ensure alignment and readiness.
- Oversee programme risks, dependencies, budgets, resources, and executive reporting.
- Ensure Day 1 operational readiness and manage data migration, system cutovers, testing, and business readiness.
Requirements
- Proven experience in M&A and carve-out program management within enterprise IT environments.
- Strong understanding of enterprise technology integration and dependencies.
- Ability to challenge technical teams and vendors effectively.
- Experience managing transition service agreements and associated planning.
- Proficient in developing detailed technology separation plans and roadmaps.
- Demonstrated history of managing multiple workstreams under tight deadlines.
- Strong skills in risk management, budget oversight, and executive reporting.
