Overview
We are seeking a skilled Transformation Migration Lead to oversee a critical migration strategy for a large-scale transformation project within the health sector. This role will work collaboratively with business and technology teams to facilitate the successful transition from a legacy system to a modern Salesforce-enabled platform. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring controlled and efficient migration activities while meeting customer needs and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the end-to-end migration strategy, covering systems, data, processes, and legacy decommissioning activities.
- Define migration principles, guardrails, and frameworks balancing risk, value, and operational impact.
- Create and maintain migration roadmaps aligned to Salesforce delivery and program milestones.
- Lead detailed planning for releases and cutovers, including sequencing, readiness criteria, and rollback plans.
- Partner with teams across Architecture, Data, Technology, and Operations to deliver migration plans.
- Establish migration governance and reporting processes, managing risks and dependencies effectively.
- Ensure data migration activities are supported by strong controls covering quality, mapping, and validation.
- Drive the retirement of legacy processes and systems to reduce operational complexity.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading large-scale migrations in complex transformation programs.
- Strong track record of migrating legacy environments to modern platforms, ideally Salesforce or similar solutions.
- Experience in regulated industries such as insurance, financial services, or health.
- In-depth understanding of migration strategy, operational readiness, and legacy decommissioning.
- Familiarity with data migration processes, including quality assurance and reconciliation.
- Strong governance, planning, risk management, and dependency management skills.
- Experience working within agile or phased transformation delivery models.
- Excellent stakeholder management and problem-solving capabilities.
