Overview
We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee the full delivery lifecycle of water infrastructure projects within a leading Tier 1 contractor's framework. This role involves managing multidisciplinary site teams and coordinating subcontractor supply chains while ensuring the successful execution of projects from pre-construction through to commissioning. The Project Manager will balance strategic management and hands-on problem-solving, reporting directly to clients and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery lifecycle of water infrastructure projects from planning to handover.
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors.
- Administer NEC contracts and manage project budgets effectively.
- Maintain strong client relationships and provide regular project updates.
- Conduct project forecasts and reports to ensure alignment with objectives.
- Oversee change management processes in line with NEC requirements.
- Address problem-solving needs in a dynamic project environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in civil engineering or water infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and commercial management.
- Ability to lead teams and manage projects under pressure.
- Experience in the water sector is advantageous.
- Valid SMSTS and CSCS Black or Gold Card required.
