Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Planner to join our project team focused on delivering large-scale, fast-track M&E and critical infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Project Managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to develop detailed project programmes, monitor progress, and identify potential risks or delays. This ongoing contract role offers opportunities for frequent travel across local areas and occasional trips to the Netherlands.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed Level 4 project programmes.
- Manage cost-loaded and labour-loaded programmes.
- Monitor site progress and update project schedules.
- Review and integrate subcontractor programmes.
- Produce weekly lookaheads and progress reports.
- Analyse critical path, dependencies, milestones, and programme risks.
- Identify slippage and develop recovery plans.
- Attend planning, progress, and coordination meetings.
Requirements
- 4–5+ years of planning experience within construction, engineering, or M&E.
- Strong experience with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar.
- Proven ability to develop detailed construction programmes, ideally Level 4.
- Good understanding of M&E construction and project delivery.
- Experience on large-scale, fast-track projects.
- Strong knowledge of programme logic and critical path analysis.
- Experience reviewing and managing subcontractor programmes.
- Strong progress reporting and programme analysis skills.
