Project Scheduler

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Project Scheduler for the Tees Valley Energy Recovery Facility project. In this hands-on role, the contractor will work closely with the project team to ensure efficient scheduling and execution of construction and commissioning activities. This position is integral to the project's success, requiring quick integration and ownership of responsibilities from day one.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and update Site System Time Schedules (S-STS).
  • Monitor and report schedule performance using CPM and Float Management.
  • Coordinate schedules across internal teams, subcontractors, and clients, proactively resolving issues.
  • Provide weekly/monthly progress reports, including S-curves, to support the Construction Manager.
  • Maintain an as-built schedule, comparing baseline vs actual progress and recommending improvements.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Experience as a Project Scheduler in heavy or industrial sectors.
  • Knowledge of HSEQ regulations and valid site safety certification.
  • Strong skills in MS Suite, SharePoint, MS Project, and advanced Primavera P6.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented with excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
