Overview
We are seeking a skilled Project Scheduler to join the project team for the Tees Valley Energy Recovery Facility (TVERF). This pivotal role demands a proactive individual who can effectively synchronize construction, M&E, and commissioning schedules and deliver results from day one. The contractor will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure the project stays on track and within scope over a two-year duration.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Site System Time Schedules (S-STS), integrating various project activities.
- Monitor and report on schedule performance, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Coordinate schedules among internal teams, subcontractors, and clients, resolving issues proactively.
- Provide regular progress reports and support data collection for the Construction Manager.
- Maintain an as-built schedule and analyze baseline versus actual progress to recommend improvements.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience in project scheduling for heavy/industrial sectors.
- Familiarity with HSEQ regulations and hold valid site safety certification (SCC, SafePass, CSCS, CCNSG, or equivalent).
- Proficient in MS Suite, SharePoint, MS Project, and advanced Primavera P6.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and negotiate with various stakeholders.
- Capable of evaluating options and presenting ideas clearly to enhance project outcomes.
