Overview
The Project Scheduler for the Tees Valley Energy Recovery Facility will play a crucial role in supporting the project team through the development and maintenance of comprehensive scheduling. The contractor will work with various internal teams and external partners to ensure effective schedule coordination, performance monitoring, and progress reporting, contributing significantly to the efficient execution of the project.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Site System Time Schedules (S-STS) for construction, M&E, and commissioning activities.
- Monitor schedule performance employing CPM and Float Management methodologies.
- Coordinate schedules across internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to resolve potential issues proactively.
- Provide weekly/monthly progress reports, including S-curves, to aid the Construction Manager.
- Maintain an as-built schedule, comparing baseline and actual progress and recommending improvements.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Experience as a Project Scheduler in heavy or industrial sectors.
- Knowledge of HSEQ regulations and valid site safety certification (SCC, SafePass, CSCS, CCNSG, or equivalent).
- Proficiency in MS Suite, SharePoint, MS Project, and advanced Primavera P6.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and solution-oriented skills.
