Overview
We are seeking a Security Analyst to join a dynamic team focused on assessing technology projects to ensure compliance with enterprise security standards. This role involves reviewing various technology initiatives, including SaaS products and cloud platforms, while identifying security risks and ensuring alignment with internal policies. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with project teams and contribute to the security assessment of emerging technologies, particularly in AI.
Responsibilities
- Assess technology projects against security policies and standards.
- Review SaaS platforms, cloud solutions, and enterprise technology.
- Identify security risks and potential control gaps.
- Provide practical security guidance to project and technology teams.
- Assess AWS environments from a security perspective.
- Manage and prioritise a backlog of technology assessments.
- Support the assessment of emerging AI and AI-enabled systems.
Requirements
- Experience in technology security analysis, assurance, and assessment.
- Experience reviewing technology projects, SaaS products, and third-party solutions.
- Good understanding of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
- Understanding of security within AWS environments.
- Ability to assess how security policies apply to real-world technology solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Familiarity with core business technology such as Jira, Microsoft 365, and Slack.
- Desirable knowledge of AI and AI-enabled systems, including practical understanding of security in AI-focused technology.
