Overview
The Senior Embedded/Electronics Engineer will play a critical role in an established electronics design and manufacturing company, working closely within a small engineering team. This position involves managing projects from initial customer engagement through to production, with a focus on both hardware and firmware development. The ideal candidate will take ownership of their projects, utilizing their expertise to create innovative designs for a diverse range of industries.
Responsibilities
- Meet with customers to gather project requirements.
- Translate customer requirements into detailed specifications.
- Design electronic circuits and components as per specifications.
- Write embedded firmware for the designed hardware.
- Support the manufacturing process through to product completion.
- Manage projects from inception to final production.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in designing electronic hardware and embedded firmware.
- Experience managing projects from schematic through to working product.
- Strong track record of independently making design decisions.
- Ability to work directly with customers for requirement specifications.
- Experience in a design consultancy or design and manufacturing environment across multiple industries.
