Overview
We are looking for a Senior Finance Manager to join the leadership team in a hybrid role, acting as a trusted commercial finance partner. This position focuses on overseeing core financial processes, providing strategic insights, and optimizing cash flow delivery within central functions. The successful candidate will work closely with non-finance stakeholders and junior team members, mentoring and guiding them in financial processes and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Partner with central function leadership to provide strategic financial guidance and commercial analysis.
- Lead monthly spend management reporting, ensuring clarity and precision for non-finance stakeholders.
- Facilitate the annual budgeting cycle and monthly forecasting updates for central operational units.
- Evaluate financial risks and opportunities to support cash flow optimisation initiatives.
- Utilise modern EPM and BI platforms to analyze performance metrics and streamline reporting.
- Offer collaborative guidance and informal mentorship to junior team members within the broader finance structure.
Requirements
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with substantial post-qualification experience.
- Demonstrated history of partnering directly with central, corporate, or overhead functions.
- Proven expertise in monthly reporting, annual budgeting cycles, and forecasting.
- High proficiency in Excel alongside practical experience with BI or corporate EPM tools.
