Overview
We are seeking a Senior Test & Verification Engineer to lead the testing and verification activities for a product that integrates software, hardware, and data-driven technologies. This role involves establishing a mature testing function and ensuring the quality and reliability of complex end-to-end solutions. The successful candidate will work throughout the entire product life cycle and will play a crucial role in leveraging AI-assisted testing approaches where applicable.
Responsibilities
- Build and enhance the Test Function for products.
- Conduct software testing and system testing to ensure product quality.
- Embed quality practices across the engineering team.
- Create and maintain test plans, procedures, and comprehensive reports.
- Implement test automation using Typescript and/or Python with relevant tools.
- Perform Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
- Engage in verification of real-world solutions.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Test, QA, or verification engineering with ownership of test strategy.
- Hands-on experience with test automation in Typescript and/or Python, using Playwright, Vitest, or Pytest.
- Proficiency in testing products that combine hardware and software.
- Strong technical writing skills for creating test plans, procedures, and reports.
- Experience in safety-regulated product development with knowledge of traceability and formal verification.
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes, hardware-in-the-loop testing, or simulation-based testing.
- Knowledge of Docker, Jenkins, or Ansible is desirable.
- Understanding of functional safety or quality standards such as IEC or ISO9001.
