Overview
The Senior Linux/HPC Infrastructure Engineer will play a crucial role in the deployment, management, and optimization of large-scale compute environments. This hybrid position requires an experienced engineer to provide hands-on Linux systems administration and infrastructure automation while supporting production compute environments. The role focuses on ensuring the reliability and performance of Linux servers and compute infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Linux servers and compute infrastructure.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
- Troubleshoot Linux, networking, and performance issues.
- Support infrastructure upgrades, capacity expansion, and cluster operations.
Requirements
- Strong Linux systems administration experience.
- Experience with RHEL, Rocky Linux, or Ubuntu.
- Proficiency in server provisioning and infrastructure troubleshooting.
- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Python, or Bash.
- Experience supporting production compute or server environments.
