Overview
We are seeking a Senior Product Engineer with expertise in Python, AWS, and Terraform to join a forward-thinking technology organization that blends data capture and AI into its operations. Responsibilities
- Act as the subject matter expert for data capture, setting standards and guiding the team.
- Design, develop, and maintain full stack web applications using Python frameworks such as Django and Flask.
- Build and manage server side logic using Python and AWS services.
- Own and evolve Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Automate processes and workflows using Python, Go, JavaScript, and Bash.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD workflows in GitHub Actions.
- Implement monitoring and observability for reliable application performance at scale.
- Mentor engineers and work closely with product teams to achieve real product outcomes.
Requirements
- Senior or lead level experience in Python with strong commercial knowledge in Django and Flask.
- Deep understanding of AWS across serverless and container services, alongside strong Terraform skills.
- Experience in handling large volumes of data, particularly in web capture and data pipelines.
- Proficient scripting skills in Bash and Python, with hands-on experience in GitHub Actions.
- Practical use of AI in engineering workflows.
- Strong product-focused mindset with a collaborative approach.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and a commitment to improving reliability and efficiency.
