Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mobile QA Engineer with expertise in both iOS and Android platforms to join a dynamic product engineering team within the Ed-Tech sector. The contractor will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of innovative mobile learning applications, collaborating closely with product owners, developers, and infrastructure teams. The position is hybrid and offers immediate start for the selected candidate.
Responsibilities
- Lead quality assurance activities across mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks and tooling.
- Perform functional, regression, exploratory, performance, usability, and compliance testing.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Developers, and Infrastructure teams throughout the SDLC.
- Identify, document, and manage defects through to resolution.
- Support continuous improvement of QA processes, automation capabilities, and CI/CD practices.
- Provide guidance on mobile testing best practices and platform-specific considerations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior QA Engineer within a mobile application environment.
- Extensive testing experience across iOS and Android platforms.
- Strong hands-on experience with mobile automation tools such as Appium, Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright.
- Experience testing APIs and backend services supporting mobile applications.
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies.
- Experience building and maintaining automated test suites.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
