Overview
The Senior Business Analyst will join the IT function on a contract basis, focusing on delivering high-profile, data-driven projects. Collaborating with both technical and business stakeholders, the analyst will lead the analysis and delivery of defined project requirements while ensuring alignment with business objectives. Responsibilities
- Lead business analysis activities across multiple concurrent data projects.
- Gather, analyse and document complex business and technical requirements.
- Facilitate workshops with key business stakeholders.
- Produce high-quality functional and non-functional requirements.
- Create process maps, user stories and acceptance criteria where appropriate.
- Support solution design alongside technical teams.
- Manage requirements through the full project lifecycle.
- Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and business readiness.
Requirements
- Significant experience as a Senior Business Analyst delivering complex data projects.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including senior leadership engagement.
- Strong workshop facilitation and requirements elicitation skills.
- Experience producing high-quality business analysis documentation.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- A structured and pragmatic approach to problem solving.
- Experience working in Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments.
