Overview
This interim role as a People Leadership Consultant offers a seasoned professional the chance to provide executive leadership for an established People function during a crucial period of organizational growth. Working closely with the executive leadership team, the consultant will play a pivotal role in maintaining stability and ensuring the successful delivery of key People initiatives. This hands-on position requires the ability to establish trust quickly and make a significant impact across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Provide executive leadership to an established People function during a six-month consultancy engagement.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing People team to create clear priorities and momentum.
- Ensure effective delivery of core People operations, including employee relations and workforce planning.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on complex people matters.
- Drive the successful implementation of key People initiatives and organizational change programs.
- Improve People processes and operational effectiveness to support organizational growth.
- Utilize people data and insights to aid executive decision-making.
- Build strong relationships across the business to enhance leadership capability and best practices.
Requirements
- Significant experience operating at the People Director, Head of People, or equivalent executive level.
- Previous interim or consultancy leadership experience.
- Strong track record in consulting, technology, or professional services sectors.
- Broad HR leadership expertise across the full employee lifecycle.
- Experience leading organizational change and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills at the executive level.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational leadership.
- A pragmatic and commercially focused approach with rapid credibility building skills.
