Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Lead to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance the testing strategy for an exciting fintech project, ensuring quality assurance best practices are followed. You will work closely with developers to improve test automation tools and contribute to a culture where quality is everyone's responsibility, all while promoting collaboration and solution-oriented approaches within the team.
Responsibilities
- Propose, create and enhance the project's test strategy, considering the test automation approach.
- Question and challenge existing practices while actively promoting QA best practices.
- Support a culture where quality is everyone's responsibility by educating the team and focusing on value-add testing tasks.
- Approach complex challenges with a positive mindset, fostering collaboration with the team and the client.
- Contribute to the definition and enhancement of the quality assurance process based on project needs.
- Provide support and guidance to the team on QA-related activities.
- Design, maintain and execute test cases, and provide critical analysis of the results.
- Collaborate with the Dev team to enhance automated tests and maximize test coverage.
Requirements
- Significant experience in a QA lead role.
- Ability to derive test cases from functional/technical designs.
- Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), and Test Automation.
- Knowledge of Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and an understanding of the QA role within it.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, comfortable engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to question and improve existing QA practices.
