Overview
As a Test Lead, you will be integral to a high-profile finance transformation programme, focusing on ensuring quality testing assurance across core finance initiatives. This role requires collaboration with senior stakeholders and involves leading system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and end-to-end process testing. You will coordinate testing efforts, manage defect resolution, and produce comprehensive reporting on testing outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead SIT, UAT, and end-to-end testing processes for finance initiatives.
- Coordinate testing activities with business stakeholders and system integrators.
- Drive defect triage, prioritisation, and resolution within testing scope.
- Oversee the creation and quality assurance of test scripts.
- Validate end-to-end financial scenarios including journals and reporting.
- Support test environment setup and data readiness for releases.
- Produce test reporting and dashboards to communicate progress and outcomes.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in a Test Lead role, particularly within finance transformation programs.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, specifically SIT and UAT.
- Familiarity with ERP platforms, especially D365 (preferred but not essential).
- Experience with data migration and ETL validation processes.
- Proven ability to manage defect resolution and testing prioritisation.
- Ability to produce comprehensive reporting on test outcomes and governance.
