Overview
The Senior Systems Engineer role focuses on managing and enhancing Microsoft and VMware enterprise infrastructure within a globally recognized MedTech and life sciences organization. The contractor will collaborate with various teams to support a major tenant-to-tenant migration alongside other infrastructure transformation initiatives. This position offers an exceptional opportunity for experienced infrastructure professionals to contribute significantly to a complex, multi-year transformation project.
Responsibilities
- Engineer and support VMware, Azure, and Microsoft enterprise infrastructure.
- Support the delivery of a major tenant-to-tenant migration across Microsoft cloud environments.
- Manage Windows Server, Active Directory/Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and Dynamics environments.
- Troubleshoot production infrastructure and automate operational improvements using PowerShell.
Requirements
- Strong senior-level experience across VMware and Microsoft enterprise infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Azure, Active Directory/Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and Dynamics.
- Proven experience delivering tenant-to-tenant migrations, infrastructure migrations or M&A integrations.
- Strong PowerShell, troubleshooting, and production support skills.
