Overview
We are looking for a skilled Infrastructure Engineer to support and enhance hybrid infrastructures in a managed service provider (MSP) environment. This role will involve working with various cross-functional teams to ensure high availability and security of client networking and cloud services. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing IT systems while adhering to ITIL frameworks, providing technical support for complex infrastructure challenges.
Responsibilities
- Support and upgrade client cloud and on-premises infrastructure, focusing on Microsoft Azure.
- Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise firewalls and networking protocols.
- Conduct regular vulnerability scanning and risk management using Tenable Nessus.
- Design and implement robust Backup & Recovery Systems to meet client RTO and RPO targets.
- Enforce cybersecurity best practices and manage network security controls.
- Manage tenant requests and incidents in alignment with ITIL processes.
- Act as a technical escalation point for complex queries and infrastructure projects.
Requirements
- Proven experience working in an MSP or consultancy environment.
- Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure administration and architecture.
- In-depth knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, and networking concepts.
- Experience with vulnerability management using Tenable Nessus.
- Familiarity with enterprise Backup & Recovery Systems, such as Veeam and Azure Backup.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and service management practices.
