Overview
We are seeking a Project Manager with expertise in the Microsoft ecosystem to drive application delivery and manage business change initiatives. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution, while maintaining a strong focus on technical understanding and governance. The contractor will engage with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage application and programme delivery for enterprise applications and business systems.
- Develop and maintain project plans, including RAID logs, budgets, and milestone tracking.
- Transform business challenges into clear requirements and user stories, ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations.
- Oversee integration processes, including APIs and data flows, ensuring seamless functionality between applications.
- Implement AI and application governance best practices, focusing on security and data protection.
- Coordinate testing and release management activities, ensuring production readiness and defect resolution.
- Facilitate service transitions and handover to operational support teams, defining roles and SLAs.
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure alignment with project goals and prevent supplier impact on project timelines.
Requirements
- Proven experience in application delivery, particularly with enterprise applications and SaaS solutions.
- Strong project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and governance.
- Demonstrated ability to gather requirements and create user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Understanding of integration technologies and data management practices.
- Familiarity with AI governance principles and security protocols.
- Experience in testing frameworks and release management processes.
- Knowledge of service transition and operational support best practices.
- Capable of effective executive communication, translating technical details into stakeholder-friendly insights.
