Overview
We are seeking a Service Lead Consultant to oversee the operational readiness of a Surge Response Service (SRS) platform for a government health agency. This remote role will involve close collaboration with various stakeholders from national to technical levels, ensuring that the service is prepared to manage outbreaks and health threats effectively. The consultant will play a vital role in developing project plans, mobilization strategies, and service roadmaps to support public health responses.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate operational priorities and manage dependencies to ensure effective service delivery.
- Develop and maintain operational readiness and mobilization plans, identifying and addressing gaps.
- Support the creation of the service roadmap, aligning policy requirements with operational needs.
- Define requirements and assist in the commissioning of business and technical services.
- Manage preparedness projects, including overseeing budgets, milestones, and risk reporting.
- Prepare contributions for business cases, senior briefings, and decision papers for stakeholder review.
Requirements
- Proven experience in project and operational delivery in public sector settings.
- Expertise in preparing services for mobilization, particularly for emergency preparedness and pandemic response.
- Ability to translate complex policy and operational needs into actionable plans and deliverables.
- Experience in drafting business cases and providing briefings for senior stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management skills across various domains, including clinical and technical teams.
- Willingness to undergo basic security clearance prior to commencing the role.
