Overview
The ServiceNow CMDB Developer will be responsible for the design, development, and optimization of the ServiceNow platform with a focus on Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and IT Operations Management (ITOM). This role aims to enhance service visibility, data quality, and operational efficiency across the organization by working collaboratively with architects, platform owners, and infrastructure teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and configure ServiceNow CMDB and ITOM solutions.
- Implement and maintain Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and CMDB Health.
- Build integrations using REST, SOAP, IntegrationHub, and MID Servers.
- Develop custom applications, workflows, business rules, client scripts, and Flow Designer solutions.
- Troubleshoot platform issues and optimize system performance.
- Collaborate with architects and infrastructure teams to deliver scalable ServiceNow solutions.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer with a strong focus on CMDB and ITOM.
- Hands-on experience with Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and MID Server configuration.
- Strong JavaScript, ServiceNow scripting, and integration skills.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and CMDB best practices.
