Overview
As a DV Application Support Engineer, you will be an integral member of the on-site team responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining critical systems that support various government operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage directly with intelligence community customers to enhance system performance and deliver mission-critical solutions. This role requires active participation in troubleshooting, system improvements, and providing technical guidance based on customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain reliable, scalable physical and virtual infrastructure.
- Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues.
- Automate processes using tools such as Ansible to improve efficiency and consistency.
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders across the business.
- Support continuous improvement of systems, tools, and practices.
- Manage the lifecycle of customer integrations and advise on the best components of the software system to use.
- Provide technical consultancy to customers on system integration methods.
- Perform second and third-line support while conducting root cause analysis and proactive problem solving.
Requirements
- Must have live eDV clearance.
- Strong understanding of networking and software architectures.
- Familiarity with structured text formats: JSON, XML, CSV.
- Experience with cloud platforms’ administration, such as AWS.
- Exposure to programming languages like Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Understanding of synchronous and asynchronous architectures.
- Experience with infrastructure as code and configuration management tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and monitoring/alerting systems.
