Overview
The SFCC DevOps/Platform Engineer will play a key role in managing and optimizing Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud platforms while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This position emphasizes integrating and deploying continuous improvement strategies over a 12+ month engagement, ensuring high-quality service delivery in an on-site capacity for three days a week.
Responsibilities
- Manage CI/CD pipelines and release management for Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud.
- Develop and optimize integration solutions using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware like MuleSoft.
- Implement performance tuning and caching strategies to enhance core web vitals on commerce pages.
- Configure and maintain Salesforce Service Cloud features such as Omni-Channel and Case Management.
- Collaborate on commerce checkout solutions, integrating payment gateways and tax services.
- Facilitate the migration to SFRA and manage Business Manager configurations.
- Utilize GitHub actions for automated deployments and workflows.
- Support front-end development activities using JavaScript (ES6+), SCSS, and jQuery, with potential exposure to Vue/React.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud (SFRA, ISML, OCAPI/SCAPI).
- Strong knowledge of payment gateway integrations (Adyen/Stripe) and tax services (Vertex/Avalara).
- Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud, including Omni-Channel and Case Management.
- Familiarity with Salesforce OMS and order management integration patterns.
- Hands-on experience in CI/CD processes and sandbox/staging orchestration using Copado.
- Proficient in front-end technologies, including JavaScript (ES6+), SCSS, and jQuery.
- Understanding of performance optimization techniques and best practices for e-commerce platforms.
- Experience with integration frameworks and middleware solutions.
