We are seeking a DV cleared Software Engineer to join a long-term programme within UK Government focused on delivering innovative software solutions. The successful candidate will collaborate with a team of skilled engineers and technical stakeholders to design, develop, and enhance software applications in a highly secure environment, contributing to challenging projects with significant development opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop software solutions within a highly secure technical environment.
- Collaborate with technical stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions.
- Enhance and improve existing software applications.
- Tackle complex technical problems and provide effective solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices in software engineering.
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience in Python development.
- Background as a Software Engineer, Python Developer, or Application Developer.
- Experience developing applications in Linux environments.
- Knowledge of modern software engineering and development practices.
- Familiarity with data processing, messaging, integration, or workflow-based systems.
- Active UK DV clearance is required for this role.
