Overview
We are looking for an experienced Solutions Architect to lead and manage the technology framework for a significant Bus Franchising project. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders in the transportation sector to ensure effective implementation of modern bus technologies and systems. The Solutions Architect will focus on guiding the integration and interoperability of diverse transportation-related platforms.
Responsibilities
- Develop architectural strategies for Bus Franchising and on-bus technology solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and system integrations.
- Ensure compliance with smart ticketing and account-based ticketing standards.
- Implement data architecture and analytics platforms to improve service quality.
- Manage API-led integrations and system interoperability across various platforms.
- Oversee the adoption of customer and digital service platforms in transport initiatives.
- Evaluate and guide supplier-led technology implementations relevant to public transport.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Bus Franchising, Bus Reform, or large-scale transportation transformation projects.
- Strong knowledge of smart ticketing, contactless payment systems, and performance management systems.
- Expertise in data and analytics platforms related to public transportation.
- Experience with API-led integration and system architecture.
- Familiarity with local authority and transport operator environments.
- Understanding of public transport transformation and supplier-led technology initiatives.
