Overview
We are seeking a DV-Cleared Teamcenter PLM Test Consultant to join our team, focusing on delivering large-scale change programmes within the Government and Defence sectors. The role involves working closely with various stakeholders to manage and execute testing strategies for Teamcenter PLM systems, ensuring the integrity and reliability of the deployed solutions. The consultant will be required to operate on-site in Reading four times a week, adhering to governance standards and facilitating user acceptance testing (UAT).
Responsibilities
- Own the Teamcenter SIT/UAT test strategy and governance, defining entry/exit criteria and maintaining the test plan.
- Plan and execute UAT cycles, coordinating efforts and tracking completion.
- Conduct technical and functional smoke testing, ensuring system integrity post-deployment.
- Coordinate Teamcenter SAP testing, validating configuration processes and release workflows.
- Validate groups, roles, and permissions through O&A testing and coordinate business admin model tests.
- Identify and manage test data readiness, ensuring availability of representative data.
- Prepare and manage UAT scope and scenarios, enabling business user access to the Pre-Prod environment.
- Act as a Local Classification Practitioner (LCP) with the TC Operations Team, leveraging expertise in Teamcenter and business operations.
Requirements
- Active DV Clearance is required for this position.
- Proven experience with Teamcenter PLM testing and governance.
- Strong capability in planning and executing UAT and SIT testing cycles.
- Knowledge of SAP testing and configuration processes related to Teamcenter.
- Familiarity with smoke testing methodologies and practices.
- Experience in managing test data and ensuring readiness for testing scenarios.
- Ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and manage defect processes.
- Understanding of local classification practices within operational teams.
