Overview
The Technical Business Analyst will collaborate with Software and Data Engineering teams within a prominent consultancy, focusing on a significant UK central government digital programme. This role necessitates translating intricate technical and business requirements into actionable specifications, ensuring alignment with GDS standards. The candidate will engage with stakeholders and engineering teams, providing critical support to enhance project delivery effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Translate complex technical and business requirements into clear specifications.
- Collaborate with Software and Data Engineering teams to ensure project alignment.
- Gather requirements, map processes, and document stakeholder needs.
- Ensure compliance with GDS standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Engage with stakeholders to clarify business objectives and requirements.
- Support project delivery through hands-on analytical tasks.
- Travel to client sites for project-related meetings and workshops as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst, preferably in the public sector.
- Experience collaborating directly with Software and Data Engineering teams.
- Familiarity with Government Digital Service (GDS) standards and project delivery.
- Strong skills in requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder engagement.
- Eligibility for SC clearance, meeting the 5+ years' UK residency requirement.
- Flexibility to travel to client sites 2-4 times per month.
