UX Designer

Overview

The UX Designer role presents an exciting opportunity to engage in a significant platform rebuild project for a UK-based medical publishing business. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with various internal teams to enhance and streamline user experiences across a suite of specialist digital products aimed at clinical professionals, all within a remote-first environment.

Responsibilities

  • Translate internal requirements into structured digital experiences.
  • Plan user flows and site maps to optimize usability.
  • Conduct user research and synthesize findings into actionable insights.
  • Produce wireframes and prototypes using Figma for developer handovers.
  • Collaborate with the in-house CTO, development team, and design resources.
  • Prioritize features for the initial product launch and subsequent phases.
  • Define the overall user experience strategy, ensuring accessibility and consistency.
  • Review existing briefs and make evidence-driven product decisions.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in UX design, including proficiency in wireframing and prototyping.
  • Proficient in using Figma for developer handover processes.
  • Ability to interpret and prioritize requirements supported by user research.
  • Experience with content-heavy and mobile-first digital platforms.
  • Familiarity with in-house engineering teams to deliver seamless experiences.
  • Knowledge of healthcare and professional B2B audiences is highly desirable.
  • Experience with video or streaming platform UX is advantageous.
  • Understanding of AI-assisted or conversational search functionalities is a plus.
