Overview
We are seeking a Hardware Validation Engineer to join a dynamic team on a contract basis for 6 to 12 months. In this role, you will work closely with other engineering professionals to validate hardware components, ensuring quality and performance within the development process. Your expertise in ASIC or digital hardware and familiarity with various programming languages will be critical for success in this position.
Responsibilities
- Conduct hardware validation tests to ensure compliance with standards.
- Collaborate with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Implement test automation using Python and validate through real-time Linux systems.
- Utilize networking equipment to analyze traffic and communication protocols.
- Document test procedures and results for future reference.
- Provide debugging support for both hardware and software interactions.
- Manage validation tests for ASIC and digital hardware components.
Requirements
- Experience in ASIC or digital hardware validation.
- Proficiency in Linux, C, and C++ programming languages.
- Knowledge of networking and communication protocols.
- Experience with hardware/software interaction and test automation using Python.
- Familiarity with real-time Linux systems.
- Ability to use network testing equipment and analyze traffic.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
