Overview
We are seeking a hands-on AdTech Privacy Technical Analyst with strong QA experience to ensure consent compliance across a variety of consumer mobile applications. In this contract role, you will work collaboratively with app teams, defining and implementing self-testing processes, as well as performing independent verifications of consent preferences. You'll leverage tools such as Proxyman, Charles Proxy, and Fiddler to analyze and audit traffic from both apps and connected devices, ensuring compliance with privacy standards in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Test and assure cookie and tracking technology compliance in iOS and Android apps.
- Intercept and inspect network traffic using tools such as Proxyman, Charles Proxy, and Fiddler.
- Audit HTTP Archive (HAR) logs to identify tracking calls and third-party endpoints.
- Define a self-testing process for app teams to ensure consent compliance.
- Review and analyze HAR logs submitted by teams and challenge any inconsistencies.
- Document findings and produce comprehensive reports for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement technical fixes based on test results.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a technical analyst, QA, or auditor in AdTech/MarTech.
- Hands-on experience with network interception tools such as Proxyman, Charles Proxy, and Fiddler.
- Familiarity with reading and auditing HAR files and tracking payloads.
- Experience in mobile app testing on iOS and Android, including using Android Logcat and Xcode Console.
- Understanding of GDPR, PECR, ePrivacy, and relevant ICO guidance.
- Experience with consent management platforms (CMPs) and mobile identifiers (IDFA/GAID).
- Strong documentation and communication skills for engaging stakeholders.
